It is the end of a lifestyle. Get used to it!

The World around us is changing at warp speed! People are staying home, snuggling in, using the Internet for an exponentially exploding plethora of money saving research, shopping, interactivity. Watching tv and listening to the radio - the world around us seems kind of similar to what it was 5 years ago (read before the Internet)- business as usual (other than the evening news - and have you noticed that even the news is presenting slice and dice infomercials - not real commercials any more). Yet everything has changed with the explosive incursion of the Internet. This is foundational - not a fad, not a trend. The underlying structure of our (mankind's) interactions with each other, and the World around us has changed profoundly.

Every business needs to critically and immediately reevaluate their market position in the world. It is not what it was 5 years ago! Period. You do not control the position your business holds in the minds of your prospects and clients; and it has changed exponentially.

FDIC is broke. Medicare is broke. GM is broke.

The world economy is shrinking for the first time since WWII.

Facebook, iPhone, app users - leverage then increased intellectual velocity - granularity. We want to pay attention to facebook - so we take it into our experience as a serial novel or serialized movie. There is a lessening place for the blockbuster extravaganza of yesteryear, like Star Wars, BatMan - today the exploding media will be serialized on youtube with a growing following.
